From 1996 to 2006 Cabaret Diosa thrilled and enthralled audiences across the globe with their intoxicating concoction of Latin rhythms, theatrical pageantry, and psych rock sensibility. There are those who say Cabaret Diosa was the best 10-piece mambo rock band to ever come out of Boulder, Colorado. Others will tell that they were not a band at all, but a goddess-worshiping-hedonistic-end-times-love-cult disguised as a mambo band; messengers of The New Mambo Revival on a mission to prepare the world for The Apocalypso. If you ask members of The Fab Cab, they will tell you that this mambo combo has only one mission; to make you dance with wild abandon, as if it were your last night on earth, as if your pants were aflame with fires of carnal desire!
Not seen since a mysterious cryogenic tanning bed accident in 2006, Cabaret Diosa is reuniting for one night only. Come see for yourself if what critics once called, “Definitely Colorado’s best 10-piece mambo-rock band” is for real.
For all those who attend the show in costume, there will be a contest during the event. Our beloved MC, Tad Low (Creator of VH1's Pop-Up Video) will be the celebrity judge and will hand out 5 golden tickets. The top three contestants will win prizes fit for an Olympian athlete .
