CA Interlude - July Session
CA Interlude is a new chamber music initiative by Cygnus Arioso, bringing together university students, young professionals, and experienced musicians for an afternoon of focused music-making.
Designed as a fast-track rehearsal - performance session, participants are assigned repertoire in advance and are expected to arrive well prepared. The afternoon is dedicated to shaping the music together through thoughtful ensemble work, culminating in an informal performance at the end of the session.
This July, the ensemble will explore Mustonen's Nonet No. 2 and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, two works that celebrate the richness, colour, and collaborative spirit of string ensemble playing.
Audience members are warmly invited to observe the rehearsal process throughout the afternoon and experience how chamber music is shaped from the first rehearsal to the final performance. Your free day pass offers a rare opportunity to witness the conversations, decisions, and collaboration that bring a performance to life before enjoying an informal performance at the conclusion of the session.
