Love chili? Then we’ve got the event for you! Join C3OHIO for the 4th Annual Firefighter Chili Cook-Off on Sunday October 5 from 11 a.m. – 1p.m. at Liberty Center (7160 Taylor Street). Fire departments from Liberty Township, West Chester Township, Deerfield Township, Fairfield Township and the City of Monroe will bring their best recipes to the table as they compete for the community's vote. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample a variety of chili for free and vote for their favorite. All proceeds benefit C3OHIO Caring Community Collaborative.
Also, taking place during the event is a car seat safety check inside the Taylor Garage from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Certified technicians from the LTFD and Cincinnati Children's Hospital will be on-hand to perform full car seat installations and safety checks.
What a day! Did we also mention that there will be a touch-a-truck area, free Kona Ice, train rides and more family-friendly activities?! See you there!
