Join us on Tuesday October 26th at 6:30 PM as we welcome C. Dixon Osburn for a discussion of his newly released book "Mission Possible: The Story of Repealing “Don’t ask, don’t tell." Osburn was co-founder and executive director of Servicemembers Legal Defense Network that led the successful effort to repeal “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”
#MissionPossible is a searing, heartbreaking, and ultimately triumphant story of the power of coming out, building a movement, and political savvy. Mission Possible shows that overcoming the odds is both possible and essential.
The discussion will be facilitated by Gary Espinas. Gary Espinas is a retired U.S. Army colonel who was investigated under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell in 2003. He currently works in the Department of Defense and serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the United States Naval Academy and The George Washington University.
This event takes place in the Elkins/Archibald Atrium at CAMP Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Avenue. This event will adhere to whatever COVID safety policies are in place at CAMP Rehoboth at the time of the event. Masks are currently required.
