Í þessari smiðju munum við skoða aðferðir til að skrifa ljóð og texta út frá orðum sem við elskum, orðum sem finnum, orðum sem okkur langar að skilja betur eða nota meira. Við munum sækja innblástur í bækur, tímarit og orðabækur á Borgarbókasafninu, við munum fá orð í láni úr öðrum tungumálum og úr myndmáli frá öðrum stöðum til þess að sauma saman fallegar myndir!
Allur aldur og öll íslenskukunnátta velkomin!
Karólína Rós Ólafsdóttir er skáld og listakona. Hún skrifar bæði á íslensku og ensku og vinnur þvert á ritlist, myndlist og þýðingar. Verk hennar hafa birst á prenti, í gjörningum og á sýningum á Íslandi, í Þýskalandi, Póllandi og á Bretlandseyjum.
Þetta verkefni er hluti af samljóða - ritsmiðjuseríunni og samvera verkefni. Samvera er styrkt af Þróunarsjóði innflytjenda.

In this workshop we will explore ways to create poems and texts out words that we love, words we find, words we want to understand better or use more. We will let the books, the magazines and dictionaries of the City Library inspire us, we will borrow words from other languages and images from various places to stitch together some beautiful tapestry!
All ages and all levels of Icelandic welcome!
Karólína Rós Ólafsdóttir is a poet writing in Icelandic and English, working across creative writing, visual arts, and translation. Her work has appeared in magazines, publications, performances and group exhibitions in Iceland, Germany, Poland and the UK.
This project is part of the samljóða - writing workshop series and the samvera project which is co-funded by the immigration fund.
