Born beneath the Kremlin and rumoured to be Vladimir Putin’s nephew, Sergei Putinski is a man who has seen things you wouldn’t believe — mostly because they happened in 1987 and are no longer relevant.
A devoted student of 80s American television, Sergei believes the mobile phone peaked with the brick, civilization was better before Wi-Fi, and the only reliable way to solve problems is yelling into a giant white cell phone while driving a questionable Maserati.
What started as a throwaway side character became an international comedy phenomenon.
