Bring Your Own Jar Candle Refill Workshop! Please read the event description in its entirety.

Join us for an exciting and hands-on candle jar refill workshop experience at Pearlescent Candle Co in Spotsylvania Towne Centre in Fredericksburg, VA. Our workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of candle making from our expert instructors. For your safety, please only bring jars that were previously candles.

What's included:

• Up to 12oz of 100% soy wax to refill your jar. Need more than 12oz? Additional wax can be purchased for $1 per ounce.
• The option to dye your wax from available colors. Your selected color will shine through your jar, highlighting the beautiful color you selected.
• Over 20 fragrance options! You can also blend fragrances together to make your own personal aroma.
• Guided instruction
• Blank labels, stickers, and markers to create your own label.

Additional Candles: Feel free to bring multiple containers to make additional candles. Additional candles can be made at a charge of $1 per ounce. So a 9oz container candle would cost an additional $9 to refill.

Safety Notice: For your safety, please only bring jars that were previously candles. We reserve the right to prohibit guests from making candles in containers that may be flammable, vulnerable to shattering due to heat, leaking, etc. If you're not sure if the container is safe, do not bring it. Please bring a different container.

Limitations: Our wicks are 6" tall, please ensure your container is not more than 5.5" tall. If you're not sure how many ounces your jar is, no worries! We can measure and weigh it once you arrive. We will assist in double wicking containers wider than 3.2" wide but cannot guarantee an even burn.

Cure Time: Your candle must set and cure for 3 hours. Depending on the time of your workshop, candles can be picked up later in the day or the next day during store hours. Candles cannot be taken home immediately after your workshop.

Minors and Waivers: Since we will be handling hot wax, a waiver is required to be signed before you begin your class. Any unsafe behavior will result in being removed from the class. Parents or guardians must sign a waiver for anyone under 18. A parent OR guardian is REQUIRED for anyone under 18. Adult attendees with minors may not leave them unattended, you must stay with the minor the entire workshop.

Your workshop time slot will be an hour long but most people typically finish within 35-45 minutes. Please arrive on-time and not more than 15 minutes late. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be moved to a different time slot.
