Get in the holiday spirit while creating your own holiday centerpiece made with seedheads, berries, branches, and evergreens in this creative experience. Join Executive Director, Mathew Ross as he shares insight into what plants can add joy to your holiday season and dinner table in a floral class suited for all levels of experience. Together you will share the harvest from the permanent collection at The Gardens and a few additional greens. BRING your favorite snips, pruners, and a YOUR OWN CONTAINER with a 6-8” opening for stems. We will have light refreshments and holiday cookies to share as you explore your creative side.

Instructor & Bio: Matthew Ross is the Executive Director of The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park. In addition to being a trained horticulturist he has assisted with several award winning designs at The Philadelphia Flower Show and was a frequent floral design competitor in the Designer Showcase.
