Bring Your Own Container: Seasonal Floral DesignExpand your horizons and try your hand at making your own floral masterpiece with plants harvested from The Botanic Garden. As we continue to celebrate our tenth anniversary, this class will give you a chance to work with a variety of herbaceous and woody plants that have created a living sanctuary in Traverse City. Tips on cultivating this selection of blooms, blossoms, and textures of the early summer garden.
BRING your favorite snips, pruners, and YOUR OWN CONTAINER with a 6-8”opening. We will have light refreshments to share as you explore your creative side.
Instructor & Bio: Matthew Ross is the Executive Director of The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park. In addition to being a trained horticulturist, he has assisted with several award winning designs at The Philadelphia Flower Show and was a frequent floral design competitor in the Designer Showcase. He is excited to teach his first floral class in Traverse City with all of you!
