Join us for a trolley ride through Detroit's seasonal attractions, lighting displays and holiday landmarks.

Head to Grosse Pointe for check-in where the light show begins! Here we'll take in the Christmas decorations at a neighborhood bar as we prep for our gawker ride through Detroit's yuletide lights.

Bring your own beverages for the vintage trolley ride! Cups will be provided on the trolley. As soon as we board the vintage trolley our adventure begins. We'll be whisked off to the Detroit Zoo for the Wild Lights. Here you'll see more than 5 million LED lights illuminating the trees, buildings and more than 100 animal sculptures throughout the zoo. We'll board the trolley again, and cruise down Woodward through downtown Detroit to see their holiday displays and make our way to Campus Martius Park. The drop off at Campus Martius Park will allow time for you to ice skate if you choose!

After soaking in the urban winter wonderland, we'll head back to Grosse Pointe and rave about all the seasonal sparkles we just saw.

5-10pm Event Schedule

5:00-5:15pm - Check-in Grosse Pointe (exact pick-up location TBD)

6:00pm - Trolley boards and departs Grosse Pointe

6:00-10:00pm - Trolley Tour with stops at Detroit Zoo and Campus Martius Park

10:00pm - Trolley arrives back to Grosse Pointe

*Fine Print: All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are only valid for scheduled event date and event time. No refunds or reschedules will be provided to anyone who misses scheduled event. Event is rain, shine or snow. No refunds will be given to customers who do not attend the scheduled event due to weather. If roads are closed on the trolley route due to extreme weather and event must be cancelled customers will be contacted via e-mail. If Events with BeneFitz has to cancel the event due to a government mandate customers will be contacted and offered a reschedule or refund. No refunds will be provided to a customer requesting a refund due to Covid or Covid concerns.Space is limited and trolleys will not be oversold or overbooked. Each trolley has a max of 32 customers. Event is 21+. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted into the event. BYOB is for trolley ride ONLY. You may bring beverages/cooler with you to the event, but will be asked to keep all beverages stored away until we board the trolley. Coolers must be small enough to fit under the trolley bench. Duration of event is 5 hours. Trolley ride is 4 hours.

How many people fit on a trolley?

Trolleys can fit 32 customers.

Can you rent the entire trolley or do a private event?

Yes! We are offering a 1.5 hour private trolley tour option here: events-with-benefitz-llc.square.site

Is the trolley heated?

Yes! The trolley is fully enclosed and heated.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

21+. The event is 21+ and no one under the age will be permitted into the event. Must have valid 21+ ID for entry.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your ticket (either printed or electronic) and your ID with you to check-in.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

As long as the attendee has a ticket (either printed or electronic) it does not matter if the ticket name matches the name of the attendee.

Something has come up and I can’t make the event for the date I scheduled. Can I reschedule my ticket for a different date?

You cannot transfer your ticket to a different date. Once tickets are purchased all sales are final. You may give your tickets away (again the ticket name does not need to match the attendee name).

I would like to add on one more ticket for a friend, but it says the event is sold out. Can I add on just one more ticket?

Unfortunately, no. Once an event says sold out there are no more tickets available for that date. We are limited due to seating constraints on the trolley and cannot oversell the event.

Are we allowed to drink on the trolley?

Yes! The event is BYOB and you are allowed to drink on the trolley. We will have cups provided as you are not to drink out of glass on the trolley.

What if I'm running late?

If you bought a 5-10pm event the trolley departs promptly at 6pm. If you arrive to check-in after the trolleys departure time you are welcome to take a cab, Uber or Lyft to meet up with the trolley at one of the scheduled stops.

What is your cancellation policy regarding Covid?

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If Events with BeneFitz has to cancel the event due to a governor mandate customers will be contacted and offered a reschedule or refund option. No refunds will be provided to a customer requesting a refund due to Covid or Covid concerns.
