We’re excited to welcome Dr. Giovanni Calise as our BYOB speaker on Thursday, June 18th from 12:00–1:30 PM!Dr. Calise will be speaking on 10X Your Business — Scaling for Sustainable Success.This training series equips business owners with practical, actionable strategies to grow and scale their businesses using the Ansoff Growth Matrix as a foundation. Complex growth concepts are translated into real-world strategies tailored for small businesses and local markets.This session will focus on a specific growth pathway and explores multiple ways participants can apply it within their own businesses and communities.Participants will leave with a customized growth roadmap—not just ideas, but clear, executable strategies designed to support long-term business success. Giovanni A. Calise is an Instructor of Marketing in the College of Business at Anderson University, where he teaches courses in consumer behavior, internet marketing, new product development, marketing management, and negotiations. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, an MBA from the University of Rhode Island, and a bachelor’s degree in communications and film from Rhode Island College. Before entering higher education, Giovanni built a strong professional background in digital marketing, product management, media strategy, CRM development, and corporate training, including leading digital sales training for a $100+ million media company and helping drive a 20% increase in divisional gross revenue. His consulting and training work has supported businesses, nonprofits, chambers of commerce, and community organizations in areas such as branding, social media strategy, digital media campaigns, website development, lead nurturing, and marketing automation. Giovanni brings a practical, entrepreneurial, and strategy-driven approach to training, helping professionals connect marketing concepts to real-world growth, communication, and business results.
