Saturday 27th of April 2024 - Tickets are now available to travel on this fully air conditioned (and heated) heritage train which will depart from Melbourne, Southern Cross at 8.25 am stopping to collect additional passengers at Broadmeadows station.
Upon arrival into Seymour, you'll step off the train directly into the heart of the Tastes of the Goulburn festival where you'll have time to enjoy everything that this exciting region has to offer.
Wine lovers and foodies… experience the finest food & wine from Victoria’s Goulburn Valley. This special one day event celebrates the Goulburn River Valley's wonderful natural attributes and stunning local produce.
Winemakers, brewers, restaurateurs, producers, distillers, growers, chef’s, musicians and entertainers jam pack Seymour’s heritage lined Station Street to showcase their produce and talents.
Spend the day exploring the finest food & wine from one of Victoria’s secrets.
Taste gourmet regional produce and sip local award winning wines. Discover new products and flavors, meet the producers, talk to the winemakers and be inspired by our celebrity chef demonstrations to cook with local fresh food in your home kitchen.
All exhibitors are from the Mitchell Shire, Goulburn Valley, Upper Goulburn, Nagambie Lakes & Strathbogie Regions.

Your return train will depart from Seymour just after 3.00pm, with a stop at Broadmeadows, before arriving and ending our journey at Melbourne's Southern Cross station at 5.30pm.

NOTE: Due to summer fire-restriction danger periods, operation of steam locomotives on this train can not be confirmed until closer to this event. Operation of this train will be on either the BROAD gauge network OR the STANDARD gauge network dependant on V/Line and Metro Trains weekend track works which are planned for this weekend.
