BY LIGHT WE LOOMBy Light We Loom, a four-piece indie-pop band, combines creative beats, vintage synths, soaring vocals, and intimate harmonies with story-folk songwriting sensibilities to deliver high-energy performances that promise to move your heart and feet in equal measures.
Cleveland’s By Light We Loom has recently evolved from a husband-and-wife duo into a dynamic four-piece band, adding a driving rhythm section to their signature sound. The group is currently performing brand-new music as they prepare to head into the studio in the Summer of 2026 to record their latest material. This follows a streak of recent successes, including two songs featured in the film The Enormity of Life, the release of the single "Fire & Smoke" (a collaboration with Cleveland Public Theatre), and composing the feature music for the PC game Merry Bear.
Since its origin in 2015, the band has toured heavily with highlight stops at MidPoint Music Festival, Brite Winter Festival, and The Heights Music Hop. They have shared the stage with notable indie acts, such as The Paper Kites, Car Seat Headrest, Lucy Dacus, Sondre Lerche, and Deep Sea Diver, among others.
The band’s discography began with their debut EP, The Ignition (2015), followed quickly by the more realized Caught in the Tide (2016). The latter landed in the Top 100 of the College Radio Charts and led to the group being named Cleveland Magazine’s “Best Indie Rock Artist of 2016.” Their music was subsequently featured on PBS’s Roadtrip Nation in 2017 and 2018, the same year they released the EP Canopy, a deep exploration of joy and loss that further matured their cinematic indie-pop sound.
VANISHING SHORES
Vanishing Shores is the Cleveland, Ohio–based project of songwriter Kevin Bianchi, crafting timeless indie rock shaped by the influence of Elvis Costello, Ray Davies, Tom Petty, and Lindsey Buckingham. Blending classic songcraft with a modern sensibility, the project delivers melodic, emotionally resonant music that feels both familiar and quietly distinct.
Eschewing linear storytelling, Vanishing Shores focuses on capturing fleeting moments and emotional undercurrents, creating songs that reflect the complexity of human connection and the beauty found within struggle. Each release serves as a collection of snapshots rather than narratives, inviting listeners to find their own meaning within the music.
With a growing catalog that includes the self-titled EP, Maps (2021), the live album Dead Language (2022), and Possible Light, Pt. 1 (2024), Vanishing Shores continues to evolve, transforming experience into something resonant and universal.
RIVAL HEARTS
Rival Hearts, from Canton, Ohio, is an alt-rock band blending atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms, and anthemic choruses. Living in the space between tension and release, their sound is moody, melodic, and cinematic—built for late nights and long drives.
