Upon seeing a chair with a gorgeous body - sturdy frame, meticulous handiwork, classic design - Camille, a woman who's never been particularly jealous of any other woman, realizes that she truly envies the life of a perfect piece of furniture. Its usefulness even in utter plainness. Its providing of comfort, relief to all who need it. Through the wishing magic of the enduring body-swap genre, Camille and this chair exchange form. So begins a nightmare of stillness and silence. A woman's being trapped inside of an object, an object's essence weighing down a woman's figure. Feminine rivalry and resentment taken to its most ludicrous, surreal extreme. Presented in partnership with the Meatpacking District Business Improvement District.

RSVP is encouraged but not required for entry. No need to check in, just show up! This show will have open seating in the seating area.

How do I get there?

Subway: take the A, C or L train to 14 St/8 Av. Bus: take the M11 or M12 to Hudson Street & West 13 Street. If you are driving you will need to find street parking.

Do I need to bring a chair?

Chairs will be provided so no need to bring your own!

Can I bring food and drinks?

No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages!

Where will the screening take place at the Meatpacking District?

The screening will take place at the plaza located at the intersection of Little W 12th St., Gansevoort St. and 9th avenue.
