BWXT invites you to join us for a community briefing on Thursday, July 23, 2026, to learn more about our planned purchase of property in the Pronghorn Industrial Park and the proposed use of the site for a TRISO nuclear fuel fabrication facility.
This event is designed to provide the community with information regarding BWXT’s intent to purchase land, site‑selection considerations and the initial plans for how the facility would support future TRISO fuel production. We will also use the opportunity to introduce Kairos Power, which is developing advanced nuclear reactor technology that utilizes TRISO fuel. Experts from BWXT and Kairos Power will be available to answer questions and provide additional context around project timelines, permitting and other related topics.
What to Expect:
• Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. A short program will begin at 5:30 p.m. and include presentations from BWXT and project collaborator Kairos Power.
• Subject‑matter experts will staff informational stations to discuss the land purchase, the proposed TRISO fuel fabrication process, project timelines and next steps in due diligence and regulatory review.
• Food and beverages will be available before and after the presentation.
