Button Boxes and Moothies returns to Aberdeen on 14-16th November 2025!

We are delighted to announce that Button Boxes & Moothies, directed by Dr Frances Wilkins of the Elphinstone Institute, will be returning to Aberdeen in November 2025.

We have an exciting weekend lined up to celebrate small free reed instrument including melodeon, concertina (Anglo and English), mouth organ, button accordion and Jew's harp. There will be concerts, workshops, ceilidh, sessions and more taking place over the weekend.

Button Boxes & Moothies will mostly be taking place in Old Aberdeen with a couple of events in the city centre.
