About this Event

URCC is a non-profit organization that provides mental health services to the BIPOC community by the BIPOC community. URCC will be hosting our first annual Butterfly Release Project. The goal of this event is to educate the Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC) communities about the importance of mental health and raise funds for our Therapy for ALL program.

We will have interactive activities for all ages focused on increasing mental health awareness

The sale of each butterfly will help support our Therapy for ALL program. We offer no-cost/low cost because we are committed to disrupting the cycle of intergenerational trauma that in passed down through family generations.

Annually, we release butterflies into the earth as a symbol of hope for members of the BIPOC communities fighting everyday to overcome depression, managing anxiety, and live a life without struggling with mental illness.
