Butterfly Pinning Workshop

Suitable for all ages - 10+ recommended.
Taught by Red, a taxidermist (and man of many other talents) with 8 years of experience. Hosted by the School of Comics, a newly-founded art studio & indie comic store.

🦋 In this workshop, we'll be using ethically-sourced butterflies from bugsdirect.com to take students through the entire process of pinning a specimen to a foam board, which will take a few days to dry.

If you're into insects, oddities, or you have a kid that is, this is your chance to get hands-on and learn a cool new skill, all while supporting a local business.

💥 Your ticket includes the cost of materials, the time & expertise of our teacher, and our regular business expenses (staff, space, etc); Plus, we even lowered the cost to account for Eventbrite's fees! All proceeds go right back into improving the space for everyone and making more awesome events happen.

We'll also have some of Red's specimens up for purchase at the workshop, so you can grab another oddity to take home!
