About this Event

Butterflies as Mirrors:

This Community Classroom program blends butterfly photography, local ecology, and the timeless metaphor of butterfly metamorphosis as a lens for understanding human psychological and spiritual change across adulthood. Using original butterfly photographs by the presenter as well as a slide presentation, participants will explore the four stages of metamorphosis—egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly—and how each mirrors major phases of human life, including beginnings, growth, loss, renewal, and elderhood. The session invites quiet reflection and gentle discussion about how transformation unfolds over a lifetime and how nature can offer guidance and meaning during periods of change.. All are welcome.
