The Asheville Butoh Collective is pleased to announce performances on Sunday, October 6th, at Sovereign Kava!
As Butoh Dancers, we seek to share the unshareable and dance for the unseen, hidden, and absurd. We dance with the forces of nature and the power of our spirits and the shadow of our bodies.
We also dance to raise funds for our 14th Butoh Festival, which features master butoh dancer Mari Osanai from Japan. As such, we are asking for a $10 - $20 suggested donation.
