Frankincense and gold? Sounds pretty good, right? But wait, there's myrrh! There's no actual myrrh or frankincense in this beer and definitely no gold. It is the holiday season though, so we were very generous with what we DID brew this red seasonal ale with: figs, dates, citrus and fresh ginger. A festival of enchanted Christmas wonder where all the snow is actually candy sugar, all the rooftops are made of gumdrops and Santa wants to take you sledding! If you experience any of that, please don't mention it to anyone. We may have to ask you leave. Merry Christmas from River's Edge!
