160 years in the making! 🐬🌊Join us for a once-in-a-generation community celebration as Busselton Jetty marks its 160th anniversary. From its beginnings in 1865 to today, the Jetty has been at the heart of our community - and now it’s time to celebrate together.
Here’s what’s in store for the 160th Anniversary Celebration:
🌭 Sausage Sizzle – A classic community favourite, perfect for the whole family.
🎨 Face Painting – Free fun for kids (and the young at heart!).
🍰 Jetty Birthday Cake – Celebrate 160 years with a slice of history.
🐠 Marine Discovery Centre – Free entry from 3pm, including a special screening of the Busselton Jetty Documentary.
🎶 Live Music & Performances – The Foreshore will come alive with local talent all afternoon:
Busselton City Band – setting the scene with timeless tunes.
Scott P – filling the stage with rhythm and energy.
“Sail Away” Pirate Show – a swashbuckling performance for families and kids.
Acting Up Theatre – sharing a moving snippet from “The Jetty That Nearly Wasn’t”.
Sea Shanty Singers – rounding out the day with songs of the sea.
