Welcome to Yak - A Video Chat meets Game Show experience!

About This Event

For those tired of typical Zoom networking events, we are offering a fun and interactive way to meet other business professionals virtually and have fun while doing so! This special event is geared toward bringing together professionals in the Hospitality industry or those who are looking to get into the field.

Who are we?

Virtual Trivia games on video conferencing platforms are so 2020 – The Yak Platform is built specifically for Trivia-Lovers just like yourself! You will be in your own Game Show Room with up to 6 players per room. Each player will be able to see and speak to each other which is a great way to socialize and make new friends - virtually!

Do you know someone who doesn’t wish to participate but would like to chime-in? Players are welcome to invite friends and family to access the event as an ‘audience’ member and answer along via a chat box and send Emoji gifts to the players.

How it works

You will first enter the game room where all the players can say hi and chat for a few minutes to get to know each other. Once YAK gets started, there will be a series of questions on-screen with an arrow pointing to the player’s turn it is. Whoever earns the most points from answering questions accurately at the end wins the game.

Following the event, an email will be sent with the Linkedin profile and/or email of each player so that you can connect professionally after the game.

Like a TV show - Some Yak Trivia Club games will be Livestreamed to Facebook and YouTube on the Yak Game Show Network.
