Business Networking Celebrates National Work And Family Month

Did you know that October is National Work and Family Month? We are really excited to be celebrating this event with some free business networking. Mark and his team at Hereward Carpets and Flooring will be hosting our Business Networking Celebrates National Work and Family Month. This event will take place at Hereward Carpets and Flooring in Werrington on Friday 17th October.

We asked Hereward Carpets and Flooring if they would be happy to host our Business Networking Celebrates National Work and Family Month because they are a family business. The business was started by Marks’ parents before they retired. Mark now runs the business, and his niece Michaela works for the business too. As a local family business, they were only too happy to host our next business networking event.

Our events are unique, but simple. Each month they take place at a different venue, celebrating a different national day, week or month. The events always take place between 3pm and 5pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive for 3pm. They can then network and chat with other business attendees.

At 3.30pm every attendee has the opportunity to promote their business to others in the room for up to 1 minute. We then follow this up with a question which you are welcome to prepare for. How do you balance work and family? This is followed by more networking and relationship building.

Photos are taken, and videos made too. This further boosts the brand awareness of the hosting business while promoting the business attendees too.

Here at Creative Content Company, we plan and market the event, for free. We then ask a business to host for us. This time it was Hereward Carpets and Flooring. The hosting business this month have been kind enough to offer their space for free. They will also be putting on drinks and nibbles for attendees to enjoy. Attendees can come and network for free. We just ask that they promote the event and the hosting business online after the event.

We really love meeting new like-minded people in business. As the dates and the venue of the business networking events always change, the attendees change too. This is why it’s extremely unlikely you will know everyone in the room.
