Further to the success of our earlier networking event, celebrating national months – we have another one coming up to celebrate International Games Month. What better way to celebrate International Games Month than with business networking and board games. We have been chatting with The Dice Box in Peterborough and they are kindly offering their games space for free for our next networking event.
The Dice Box Peterborough is brought to you by these two avid tabletop gamers, the owners Dane and Becky. They love nothing more than to sit down and play games together with their two children. Peterborough has many board game clubs, but Dane and Becky felt that the centre was missing a treat. A dedicated Board Game Café where people can come together and play a variety of games from our library.
It's a local small business that we love personally but is also a really nice venue. In addition, it isn’t hugely known about by those that aren’t big into gaming. We think is a real shame as it’s a fab venue for a day with the family, a date night, or an evening with friends. This is why we contacted The Dice Box to host our next networking event and have Business Networking and Board Games at their venue.
While there won’t be an opportunity to play the games while the event takes place, we have something a little bit more special for you. Not only do we have free access to the Board Game Library during the 2 hours of the event, but attendees will also have 20% off any food or drink they want to purchase during the event. In addition to this, Dane and Becky are also offering a voucher to get each attendee 10% off their next visit.
As with all our business networking and celebration events, this one is no different. Business Networking and Board Games is free to attend. However, you must book in advance as space is limited.
The event will start at 3pm for informal networking. At 3.30pm we will take to our seats. Each attendee will then have the opportunity to present their business to the room for 60 seconds. This will then be followed by more informal networking. The Business Networking and Board Games officially finishes at 5pm, but attendees are welcome to network further after the event.
The Business Networking and Board Games will take place at The Dice Box, 29 Bridge Street in Peterborough city centre. Parking is available in the local area. The closest parking to this venue is behind the Town Hall. Free parking is not available, but the event itself is free of charge.
We are running this networking event in Peterborough on Thursday 7th November. Bookings will close the day before, or when the tickets have all been booked.
