Food insecurity impacts a lot of families here at home and across Kentucky. Each day, God's Pantry Food Bank (2201 Innovation Drive) empowers more than 500 partner food pantries and meal programs across 50 counties in Central and Eastern Kentucky to assist with food needs. Its mission is to reduce hunger by working together to feed Kentucky communities.
During the next Commerce Lexington Business Link event on Thursday, March 5, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., participants will get a first-hand look at God’s Pantry’s newly renovated facility that has significantly expanded the organization’s ability to store, prepare, and distribute fresh, healthy food. The Food Bank is now equipped to meet the current need of 50 million meals and scale up to 60 million meals annually, bringing the organization closer to its vision: a nourished life for every Kentuckian.
