BUSINESS DISCOVERY LAB: From Idea to Real Opportunit
About this Event
Welcome to the BUSINESS DISCOVERY LAB!
Have a business idea but aren't sure whether it has real potential?
Business Discovery Lab is a practical two-session workshop designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, side-hustlers, early-stage founders, and professionals exploring a new business opportunity.
Instead of spending weeks building a business plan around assumptions, you'll learn how to step back and investigate the fundamentals:
Is there a real problem?
Who actually experiences it?
Would they care enough to pay for a solution?
And is this opportunity worth pursuing?
Across two interactive sessions, participants will work through a structured discovery process designed to turn an early idea into a clearer business opportunity.
You don't need a finished business plan, company, website, or investor presentation.
Come with an idea, problem, skill, industry insight, or simply curiosity about entrepreneurship.
What You'll Work On
During the workshop, you'll explore:
The problem behind your business idea
Who your potential customer really is
Customer needs and frustrations
Assumptions that need to be tested
How to conduct useful customer discovery
Early competitor and alternative analysis
Your potential value proposition
What could make the opportunity commercially viable
Your most important next steps
Participants will work individually and in small groups throughout the sessions.
You do not need an existing company to attend.
What You'll Leave With
By the end of the two sessions, you'll have:
A clearer definition of your customer
A defined customer problem
Key assumptions identified
Customer discovery questions
A simple value proposition
An early business-model snapshot
Evidence gathered from real conversations
