Event Organizers

NECINA, short for New England Chinese Information and Network Association, is the organizer of this panel. It is the most established and influential high-end professional organization in New England of the United States.

Founded in 1996 as a non-profit organization, NECINA set its mission to facilitate professional career development, nourish entrepreneurship, and bridge the business and culture gap between the U.S. and China.

SCBA-BBB (Society of Chinese Bioscientists in America---Boston Biology and Biotechnology Association), is a non-profit volunteer-based professional organization with the mission to promote collaboration and communication among professionals in the biological and biotechnological field in the greater Boston area. BBB was started by a group of passionate graduate students around the Boston area in the early 1990s as a dinner club to brainstorm scientific ideas. It then became a formal organization as BBB (Boston Biology and Biotechnology Association) to provide an interactive environment and build a supporting network in the greater Boston area. The first president (Jim Zhi-Xiong Xiao) and vice president (Ruibao Ren) were elected in 1999. It became the Boston local chapter of SCBA in 2018.

HMS-CSSA a non-profit, science-driven, research-oriented organization. It is dedicated to building a dynamic platform to facilitate communications among its ~3000 scholar and scientist members in Harvard Medical School and the seventeen affiliated hospitals/institutions, and to strengthening multifaceted collaborations among scientists in US and China.
