Royal Albert Dock’s RAD London is getting a radical facelift.

Part of the historic Royal Albert Dock, a new generation of RAD London will thrive with bold moves and daring decisions that propel the development to the forefront of innovation. We’re not just redeveloping a location; we’re rewriting the story of urban evolution.

Our RAD Phase 1 proposals will provide:

· An educational campus, inspiring learning, creativity and innovation.

· 628 high-quality student beds, with 220 affordable rooms, to help local students attend university.

· More active public spaces with new planting and seating.

· Ground floor spaces providing retail amenities.

Originally conceived as office and retail spaces, the site currently consists of 21 buildings grouped into 5 detached blocks, all achieving BREEAM excellence. We are hosting and attracting a range of occupiers active in maritime, advanced manufacturing, health and wellbeing, arts and culture, climate innovation.

To support local enterprises who are already operating in Newham or are looking to grow business from Newham, we’ll also hear from David Woods from the British Business Bank and from Lee Douris at Synergy Finance who will open our eyes to different ways of financing this growth for ALL enterprises wherever they are on their growth journeys.
