Bucks-Mont Coalition for Evangelism presents a morning of fellowship and encouragement.
Our speaker will be Jay Gordon, Jr.
After a 25-year career in publishing, Jay sensed a call to ministry in his mid-40s and now has the extraordinary privilege of serving as associate pastor of the congregation he grew up in, Grace Mennonite Church in Lansdale. His job description at Grace includes mainly community outreach, and for the last 12 years he has given leadership to Grace's Upward Flag Football league, helping to promote the discovery of Jesus through sports. Jay also works part-time at Dock Mennonite Academy, where he helps oversee communications, including managing the website and publishing of the Lamplighter magazine.
Jay’s wife, Kathy, is the Director of Marketing at Dock. They have been married for 32 years and have three adult children: Andrew (wife Cara), Emily, and Jake. Andrew and Cara have a 1-year-old, Ezra, and Jay and Kathy are loving the whole grandparent thing! In his spare time Jay loves to cook and has always dreamed of having a restaurant...at the beach. He also loves (and loves complaining about) the Eagles, Sixers, Phillies and Flyers.
