About Derrell Norris
Derrell Noris was born and raised on the east side of Houston, TX. He attended the historic Prairie View A&M University where he studied Computer Engineering and minored in Physics. He went on to pursue a master’s degree in computer engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Derrell was hired as a software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, a global software consulting firm with over 400,000 employees. Derrell left corporate America after 5 years as a developer and business relationship manager and is currently the CEO/FEO and Founder of Fresh Tech Solutionz dating back to 2016. Derrell has won the Opulence Tech Titan Award 3 years in a row and the BBB Award of Distinction 5 years in a row. He was awarded Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal in 2023. He was inducted into Who's Who in America in 2022 and won the Strategic Vision Award in Technology at the 2023 Young Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards in Queens, NY. Derrell won the distinguished Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award in 2021 and will release his book Leaping With No Hops in 2025.
