$400 proceeds go towards providing outdoor and experiential education for students from historically exluded communities.
The Bushcrafter looks at a fallen branch and sees not its imperfections, only its potential. Learn to use your environment to create tools for survival and traditional living. Bushcraft is the art of using only what's in your environment to create the tools and materials needed for survival. In many ways bushcraft is the ultimate connection relationship to nature. The Bushcrafter views the wild through the lense of reciprocity. You cannot take without giving something back. Class may include but is not limited to:
Shelter Building
Natural Cordage
Stone Tools (Flint Knapping)
Wood Tools (Traps and Snares, Whittling, Spoon Carving)
Bark Tools (Baskets, Containers)
Hafting (Pitch Glue and Sinew)
