The Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre is excited to announce that we will be having a bush tucker garden installed at our facility!Once established, we hope to use the garden as a more hands-on approach to learning about our cultural uses of the plants through future bush tucker workshops facilitated here at the centre.
To mark the occasion, we would like to invite our local community and patrons of our centre along for a community busy bee planting day.
The planting session will be facilitated by the amazing Marissa Verma from Bindi Bindi Dreaming, who will also share knowledge of the plants being planted.
This is a free event and light refreshments will be provided.
