Our Bush Friends Picnic and Pop-Up Playgroup at Ceres Community Environment Park will bring together all our favourite things: community, nature play and creativity.

Children’s Week provides us with an opportunity to delight in the wonder and precious nature of the early years. Not only is this a rapid period of development, it is a defining time in life, where experiences shape who it is these children will become. Children’s Week is a national celebration as we come together to recognise the achievements, skills and talents of all those kids out there and to acknowledge their rights.
The theme for Children’s Week 2026 is: 'Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion'.
