Hello all, please join us for one of the most unique VW campouts in the world.
Buses and Balloons is a VW campout held during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, where hundreds of hot air balloons fill the sky directly overhead, whilst hanging out with fellow Vintage Volkswagen enthusiasts.
Tens of thousands of people descend upon Albuquerque to see this event each year, and you can come see what it’s all about with front-row parking. During the event, the balloons will directly fly overhead, some even landing in the fields next to us or in our campground. You will have easy access to Ballon Fiesta Park to enjoy the Balloon festivities up close, all the while being able to return to the comfort of friends and family and your bus!!!

Who:
Open to any Aircooled VW even Vanagons and Eurovans campers! Open to all vintage Aircooled vehicles, just bring a tent or pull in a pop top or whatever.
What:
Dry-camping in a field within walking distance of the international balloon fiesta.
Why:
Raising funds for the Alameda Little League baseball organization, who help keep kids out of trouble.
How much:
Thurs-Sun $80 per VW
(includes admission for Driver)
Fri-Sun $70 per VW
(includes admission for Driver)
Sat-Sun $60 per VW
(includes admission for Driver)
VW pulling Tent Trailer is an extra $20
Extra camping guests $5 per person.
Day Pass $5 per person
(children 17 & under free)
This is a CASH ONLY EVENT!!
Please be ready at the gate.
Truck w/ Trailer towing a VW:
If you are towing a VW to the event, your VW will be the same price as anybody else that drove there. However, you will be charged an extra $50 to park your truck and trailer.
RVs:
We do have some space for RVs for $100 per night plus the regular camping price for your VW and passengers. The spaces are limited to 5 RVS ONLY!!!!
