Bury Your Gays (and they will rise up again) By Shannon Chinn
About this Event
Welcome to Bury Your Gays (and they will rise up again) by Shannon Chinn!
AnyWay Productions is proud to present this queer battle-cry of a one act as part of their workshop series. Directed by Delanie Nelson and brought to life by an incredible cast and team, we welcome you to the world of Bury Your Gays!
When a softball bat-swinging lesbian attempts to survive the zombie apocalypse, she learns the real threat isn’t the undead—it’s the straight men trying to repopulate the planet. Enter Grace: a self-proclaimed gay ass zombie who wants to recruit her into a queer undead uprising.
Campy and gloriously gory, Bury Your Gays (and they will rise up again) is a battle cry for all the queers who’ve died in media—and a love letter to the ones who lived long enough to bite back."
When and Where and Parking!
Running October 9th, 23rd and 30th at The Broadwater Studio, 1078 Lillian Way Los Angeles, CA 90038. There is plenty of parking, both metered and free, available along Lillian Way. However, it does fill up fast in the evenings and traffic can be tough on Santa Monica. Please plan accordingly.
An Important Note on Our Tickets!
We believe in accessible theatre, and so we run a donation based ticket model. However, that does mean you can only purchase one at a time via EventBrite. If you need more than one ticket for your party, please make sure you have fully purchased all needed tickets and have the QR code for each individual ticket. Our shows do tend to sell out, so make sure your spot is reserved :)
