Join Stacey Parker RVN Lead Vet Nurse Practitioner in Anaesthesia and Jodie Hughes MRCVS Specialist in Anaesthesia as they discuss how these conditions may affect our patients anaesthesia and recovery, and how we can make simple changes to keep them safe and keep our stress levels low!

Travel and accommodation:

Situated just 8 miles (20 minutes’ drive) from London Gatwick and 2.5 miles (7 minutes’ drive/taxi from East Grinstead train station.

The venue is offering reduced rates for delegates to stay overnight- please inquire directly with them for the rates. There is also a Premier Inn within walking distance.

Speaker details:

Stacey Parker ISFM Cert (FN), NCert (Anaesth) and (Dent), NAdvCert (Anaesth), LVNP (Anaesthesia) MBVNA, RVN, Owner of Burty’s Boutique

Stacey qualified as an RVN in the UK in 2014 and has gained the NCert in Anaesthesia and Dentistry and most recently the Advanced NCert in Anaesthesia, making Stacey the first and currently only RVN in the UK to hold the accreditation of Lead Vet Nurse Practitioner in Anaesthesia.

Stacey has completed the BVNA Oral Care Nurse Certificate, BSAVA Merit in Anaesthesia and Emergency Critical Care, and ISFM certificate in Feline Nursing.

Stacey works predominantly with Rachel Perry, both a RCVS and European Veterinary Specialist in Dentistry at Perry Referrals and runs her own CPD company- Burty’s Boutique- offering relatable, affordable, stress free CPD and products who you can follow both on here and socials.

Stacey also regularly lectures to local, national, and international audiences and has had several articles published.

Jodie Hughes MRCVS, European and RCVS Specialist in Anaesthesia

Jodie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011. After 2 years in mixed practice she

returned to Liverpool to undertake an internship and then a residency in anaesthesia,

becoming a European specialist in 2019. In 2020 Jodie made the move south to join the

team at North Downs Specialist Referrals.

In her spare time Jodie is renovating a house and enjoys knitting, walking, boardgames and

diving.

Who are Burty's Boutique?

A very warm welcome to Burty's Boutique, run by Stacey Parker RVN, offering relatable, affordable, stress free CPD for all the Veterinary Team.

Burty's Boutique was formed in October 2023 in legacy to Burty, Stacey's one in a million cat who always inspired her to give the best patient care possible, and help others to do the very same.

A refund will be made if the delegate chooses to cancel their ticket more than 8 weeks prior to the event, if you need to cancel within 2- 8 weeks of the event, we will only be able to refund you if we are able to sell your ticket to another delegate. No refunds within 2 weeks of the event.
