Burpee Museum BSA: Archaeology Merit Badge - In Person

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SCOUTS IS 20

Boy Scouts will learn about archaeology from our registered Archaeology Merit Badge Counselors in this hands-on workshop. Using the museums exhibits and Collections, they will participate in a simulated archaeological dig, see and handle Native American artifacts and learn about a local Native American tribe. Two requirements will need to be completed ahead of time and reports presented during the workshop. Leaders will be sent the requirements when they register.

Cost:

• Scout Participant $15
• Scout Leaders Attend FREE
• Parent / Additional Adult $6.00 each.

In Person Class: Saturday, January 31st, 2026, 10am - 12pm CST

In Person check-in starts 15 minutes before the program start time, please plan to be here early so we can start on time.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

If cancellation is received 7 clear days ahead of the date a refund less 20% will be issued. Please be aware that we sometimes have to cancel a program because it did not reach the minimum registration requirement – Don’t wait until the last minute to sign up or your program may already be cancelled!

Burpee Museum reserves the right to limit registrations and cancel any program for any reason. Every effort will be made to contact participants.
