Burnley’s Best Bonfire Returns to Lowerhouse Cricket Club — 2025Saturday 1st November 2025
Lowerhouse Cricket Club are delighted to confirm that Burnley’s Best Bonfire & Fireworks is back for 2025. We’re proud to announce two fantastic local sponsors supporting this year’s community event:
MKM Burnley – Our neighbours on Liverpool Road, who first opened in 2018 and continue to go the extra mile, providing unbeatable service and top-quality products at great prices.
Groundwork Direct Ltd – Co-Director Terry Dand is a long-standing House supporter. The company specialises in civil engineering, granite paving, excavation, drainage, concrete, asphalt and more.
On behalf of everyone at the Club, we thank both MKM Burnley and Groundwork Direct Ltd for their valued support.
Event Information
Gates Open: 4.30pm — with two entry points:
Main Gate: via David Wren Way, off Lowerhouse Lane
Entry Gate: Liverpool Road
Important: There is no facility to pay on the gate. As in 2024, entry is by ticket only. Please bring cash for food, bars, and fairground attractions, as most outlets will be cash-only.

Attractions & Facilities
Fairground rides open from 4.30pm
Club bar open from 4.30pm with a full range of drinks
Cash Can Bar (on the decking) selling Stella, Dark Fruits, Fosters & Strongbow (£3 per pint can)
North West Street Food in the tea room, plus additional outlets for food, drink & sweets
DC Coffee vans serving premium hot drinks and snacks
Toilets available inside the clubhouse, with additional portaloos by the bar steps
Important Notices
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
No personal fireworks or sparklers — bag searches will be in place
No external alcohol — bag searches will be in place
Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated
Tickets are non-refundable (online booking fee applies)
Challenge 25 Policy applies for alcohol sales — please bring valid ID if you look under 25
Parking
There is no parking available on the club grounds. Please park responsibly and consider our neighbours at all times.
Thanks to our friends at Business First, free parking for up to 250 cars is available on Liverpool Road, just a short walk from the Liverpool Road entry gate.
