Burning on the Beach 2026
Slumber Party vs Aliens.
Sunday Sept 6th, 4pm to Monday Sept. 7th 2pm.
This party is a challenge to get to but the rewards are well worth it.
If you have not come before, ask friends who have.
Last year there were almost a thousand people, 200 tents, 15 amazing djs, 12 fantastic fire jugglers, light artists and dancers from 4pm to 4pm the next day.
All this talent comes from the heart. None of these incredible people are paid to be here. They are sharing freely of their talents to bring bliss to you....and you...and you.
So bring your Bliss with you, your arts, lights, instruments, foods, drinks, smokes, tents, friends, all you need that makes a party a great time. Share what you have with people you have never met. Many friendships found there start on this very beach.
Its a journey just to get to Gibraltar beach. The last ferry leaves the city for Hanlens at 10:45, leaving Hanlans at 11pm. Center Island leaves city 11:30pm leaves the island at 11:45pm.
From both ferries Gibraltar beach is over a half hour walk. Bring wagons.
The water taxis leave from the bottom of Yonge and bottom of York. They often run till 1am.
This is a rain or shine event. we have had storms that made for historic party stories.
If it calls for cool come prepared..
The washrooms are a 15 minute walk east and west from the site.
The entrance to the party is across from the white house east of the water plant.
There is nothing to buy on the island. No money or cards required when you get there. No place to buy smokes, alcohol, W**d or food, so bring enough for you and to share. There will be a cooking fire. There is a water faucet across the road from the party.
This is a leave no trace event, please pick up matter out of place (moop) during and as you leave.
