BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE - The Bay Area's Talking Heads Tribute

Burning Down the House is the Bay Area’s premier Talking Heads tribute band, bringing audiences an energetic, feel-good celebration of one of the most distinctive catalogs in modern music. More than simply recreating the songs, we recreate the experience: infectious grooves, irresistible rhythms, and the kind of uplifting energy that fills dance floors and keeps people moving all night.

At the heart of the band is a tight six-piece ensemble that captures the rhythmic interplay and musical chemistry that made Talking Heads so unique. Every performance is driven by deep grooves, dynamic arrangements, and musicians who genuinely love playing this music together. From the unmistakable pulse of “Burning Down the House” and “Once in a Lifetime” to deeper cuts cherished by longtime fans, each song is performed with authenticity, precision, and joy.

Our shows are built around connection. We love seeing audiences sing along, dance with friends, and rediscover songs they haven’t heard in years alongside classics they know by heart. The result is a concert that feels less like a tribute and more like a shared celebration of great music.

Burning Down The House has become a favorite at festivals, clubs, theaters, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout Northern California. Whether we’re performing for lifelong Talking Heads fans or introducing a new generation to these remarkable songs, our goal is always the same: create an unforgettable show filled with great grooves, contagious energy, and a packed dance floor.
