At New Year’s, we talk about a new start, or a fresh beginning or a new life. We look ahead at what we hope will be a wonderful year. The New Year is symbolically the time when we can each have a new beginning by letting go of the old limiting thought of who we think we are, so that we might accept the spiritual truth about ourselves.
In order to have a new beginning, we must be willing to let go of the past. We release the past, so that we might be able to view ourselves, our relationships and all other Life without a history that has “always been.” By releasing we create a vacuum. We must release those things that no longer serve us. We must release the past. The Burning Bowl is a ritual to assist us in releasing those things we do not want to carry into 2023. Come and join us New Year’s Eve for this special Burning Bowl Service.
