---BURN CONCERN'S 12TH ANNUAL THANKSGIVING POTLUCK---
Please join us for a family-friendly day of burn survival healing, sharing & support as we take a moment to be thankful, while on our road to recovery. The event will include a delicious meal, giveaways, bingo with prizes, and craft activities.
We have catering for turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and drinks (coffee/tea/iced tea/water). Please feel free to bring a side dish, dessert, or bingo prizes, if you wish.
**Please RSVP on signup genius so we can get an accurate guest count. You do NOT need to bring anything to come. **
This is an event for burn survivors, survivors’ families & friends, Burn Center staff, Firefighters, Phoenix SOAR, Burn Center outpatient members, and anyone connected to the burn survivor and fire/burn prevention community. You do not have to be treated at West Penn to attend!
When: Saturday, November 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM
Where: The Wintergarden in West Penn Hospital (next to the cafeteria). 4800 Friendship Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224
-----General Timeline and Activities-----
1:45-2:15: Fellowship and Mingle- Guests arrive and are greeted at the welcome table to check in, enter into door prizes, get name tag, place food items..etc.
2:15- 2:30: Welcome announcements
2:30-3:00 Potluck: Please bring a Thanksgiving dish or drink donation if you can.
3:00: Thankful Wreath activity
3:15: Group Photo and family/friend/guest photos (if you wish :)
3:30: Bingo for Adults and Children with many prizes. Everyone is a winner!
4:00: Phoenix SOAR (Survivors, Offering, Assistance, in Recovery) Peer Supporters Introduction
4:10: "Talk Story" session to share or listen to our stories of survival and what we are grateful for in our burn community. Craft table for children, if interested
5:00: Event closes. Clean up time.

Location: West Penn Hospital: 4800 Friendship Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224
Parking: Parking tickets will be provided. There is a spacious, well-lit Parking Complex on the corner of Liberty and South Millvale Avenue. Enter the Hospital directly from the Parking Complex through an enclosed pedestrian walkway, called the Skywalk. The Skywalk links the top floor of the Parking Complex (Level 2) to the second floor of Mellon Pavilion, which connects to all areas of the Hospital.
An Information Desk is staffed at the Skywalk to provide directions or information. Once inside the hospital, you will need to take elevators down to the 1st-floor cafeteria.
