Director & Founder of Mackay’s premier burlesque school, Boutique Burlesque By Bailey, Miss Bailey-Bliss brings years of professional, international, showgirl experience to share with you in a high kick and a hair flick!
Sassin’ Showgirls!
Strut, shimmy and sass about in Bailey's Sassin' Showgirls workshop! We're giving bevels, posture, confidence, showgirl kicks and tricks all while incorporating our burlesque basics and putting your unique beautiful self into your sassy showgirl character!
This workshop will incorporate a lengthy stretch to warm up our whole bodies (focusing on stretches for flexi legs), some showgirl technique; breaking down posture, strutting, kicks, basic travelling single turns and then an up-beat, cute routine to the 'Crazy Horse Paris's 'Baby Buns.'
This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and experience.

VENUE: The Bombshell Burlesque Academy, 12 Jamieson St, Bowen Hills
BRING: Your fiercest looks or clothes you can move in, a water bottle, gloves & heels that you can dance in (bare feet is also ok). Please bring a towel and yoga mat for stretching if you would like to cushion your knees.
Way Down We Go – Lyrical Floor & Chairdance
Bailey's floor and chair routines are some of her favourite to teach!
In this workshop you will do a lengthy warm up stretching our whole body, and then learn a routine to Kaleo's 'Way Down we Go.'
We are letting our hair fly and our bodies move in a free way!
The floor and chair work for this routine is best suited to an advanced level and for those who have danced before.
You will be indulging in lyrical/contemporary movement mixed with your own sexual expression and floor tricks that look great in the studio but also impressive on stage!

VENUE: The Bombshell Burlesque Academy, 12 Jamieson St, Bowen Hills
BRING: Your fiercest looks or clothes you can move in, a water bottle, stay up stockings (heels not required), knee pads and your own chair to dance on. Please bring a towel and yoga mat for stretching if you would like to cushion your knees.
