On March 23rd Burlesque RIght Meow was forced to cancel their show at The Veil Brewing due to a called in complaint about the event. Archaic ABC laws and limited ABC licensing options continue to prohibit venues from hosting our art in Richmond.

Even when we follow the rules we’re clearly still at risk, which puts the venues at risk as well.

If you are a lover of burlesque we need your input to get the conversation started on changing the legislation that blocks artistic expression and revenue streams for local and traveling performers.
