Loving someone who struggles with addiction can slowly take over our lives. What began as simply trying to help can grow into a burden that leaves us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and buried beneath the weight of the disease. But being buried is not the end of the story.
Those who have begun their own healing know that we are not broken beyond repair. The Lord can bring forth new growth in us—growth that could only come through suffering entrusted to His grace.
God is more powerful than addiction and stronger than the family patterns that form around it. Through prayer, the Sacraments, and the loving intercession of the Blessed Mother, peace and joy are truly possible.
Come away for a weekend designed to help you:
• Begin healing if you feel lost or overwhelmed
• Strengthen the healing already underway
• Walk with others who understand this journey
Our retreat master will be Keaton Douglas. Keaton is the creator and Executive Director of the iTHIRST Initiative, curricula that has been taught in Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Boston, along with Costa Rica, Africa, and more. She is the author of The Road to Hope, regular contributor to Relevant Radio, and we will soon see her in the series Unshackled.
This retreat offers space to rest, reflect, and rediscover the God who has never stopped pursuing your heart.
