Burgers and Baskets Free Community Cookout Charity Event

This year, we are doing something a little different! Instead of a traditional birthday party for my son, we are throwing a massive community cookout to raise awareness for Jack's Basket. All proceeds from this event will go directly to Jack’s Basket, a phenomenal non-profit organization on a mission to celebrate babies born with Down syndrome. They provide beautiful welcome baskets filled with baby items, resources, and a message of congratulations and hope to new parents at the time of diagnosis. We want to help them keep welcoming these babies exactly as they should be: with pure joy!
Our goal is simple: Eat together, build community, and celebrate the beautiful truth that every single child matters.
What to Expect:
Come hungry and ready for a great day out at the park! We are pulling out all the stops to make this an unforgettable festival for the whole family:
The Food: Delicious, free food (including local BBQ!) and drinks for everyone.
The Fun: Face painting for the kids, backyard yard games, a fun DIY photo spot, and plenty of space to run around and play.
Cost & Donations
This event is entirely FREE to attend! The food, the fun, and the park access are our gift to you.
We have a big, audacious goal to raise $5,000 for Jack’s Basket to celebrate our first annual event. There will be a secure donation station on-site for free-will donations (cash or direct digital scanning via QR code). Absolutely no pressure just come be part of something big, eat good food, and share some love!
💙💛 Dress Code: Wear your favorite blue and yellow to show your Down syndrome awareness and support!
