BUNDLE DYE SUMMER SILK WORKSHOP
Join us for a relaxing and creative natural dye workshop where you’ll make your own silk bandana using the colours and patterns of summer.
Through the art of bundle dyeing and eco printing, you’ll transform fresh flowers, leaves, and garden botanicals into beautiful, one-of-a-kind botanical impressions on silk.
Set in the peaceful surroundings of Ethelwolds Gardens, this workshop is part of the Slow Garden Craft Series, celebrating nature-inspired making and mindful creativity.
During the session, I will guide you step by step through the process of preparing silk, arranging seasonal plants, and steaming your fabric to reveal delicate botanical prints and soft, organic colours. Each piece will be completely unique—a wearable keepsake that captures the essence of summer.
We’ll work with a curated selection of fresh local seasonal materials, including summer blooms, foliage, and garden botanicals, chosen for their natural pigments and expressive shapes.

* A silk bandana to dye and take home
* A curated selection of seasonal flowers, leaves, and botanical materials
