Bundle Diapers for Babies In Need

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Have you ever heard of a diaper burrito? Kid Volunteers will become familiar with this term when they remove diapers from their original packaging to create small-sized bundles (aka: burritos). These diaper bundles will then be distributed to families in need throughout Southern Arizona.

NOTE: This volunteer project is for Kid Volunteers ages 8+.

WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT:

This hands-on volunteer work will benefit the Diaper Bank.

The Diaper Bank's mission is to ensure families never have to choose between putting food on the table or having access to diapers. The Diaper Bank distributes diaper bundles to 40+ community groups throughout the region, resulting in millions of diapers given out each year to families or individuals in need.

KIND NOTES:

This volunteer project is for Kid Volunteers ages 8+.

Our volunteer event will take place in the Diaper Bank's warehouse. Please wear closed toed shoes.

This volunteer work requires you to stand.

There will be a snack break midway through the project. You are also welcome to bring your own refillable water bottle to have with you.

WHY YOU'LL BE ASKED TO PAY A FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE:

Our small family registration fee enables Tucson Family Volunteers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to offset volunteer costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more give-back kindness projects for our kids, families + non-profit partners.
