Bumpin’ Bumpin’ is a one-of-a-kind trio blending jazz, funk, and punk influences into a fresh, edgy lounge sound. Listen to their new album Hunt on all the usual streaming platforms (YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, etc). The band features:
Forest Carter on drums – a Santa Fe native whose jazz studies in Portland, OR, and years as a professional musician give his playing both technical brilliance and raw power.
Noah Baumeister on electric bass – a New York University-trained jazz performer who’s made his mark on Santa Fe’s music scene, known for bridging jazz and post-punk grooves.
Lee Steck on vibraphone – a versatile percussionist with roots in jazz, Latin, and funk, bringing lush melodic textures and rhythmically rich solos.
Performing together since 2023, Bumpin’ delivers an electric live experience filled with dynamic original tunes and imaginative covers. Bumpin’s debut album Hunt captures their unique vibe—and now’s your chance to hear it live, loud, and in celebration.
Blue Line Trio
A modern organ trio with its roots planted firmly in the soulful groove of the 1960s. With the warm swirl of the Hammond organ, the bite and sparkle of jazz guitar, and the driving pulse of drums, the trio channels the golden era of Jimmy Smith, Grant Green, and Wes Montgomery—all while bringing their own contemporary edge. Blue Solstice blends bluesy swagger, gospel-tinged harmony, and hard-swinging rhythms into a sound that’s timeless, spirited, and unmistakably their own. Featuring Micah Hulscher on organ, David Sampson on guitar, and Joe Hecker on drums.
